Day 3 : Yangon - Fly to Bagan
Take the morning flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, be transferred to the hotel for a rest. Later, explore the colorful Nyaung U Market and some significant pagodas and temples. Start with Shwezigon Pagoda, then Kyansitha Umin (the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas), followed by Htilominlo Temple, where you'll find a tunnel with interesting paintings. Later, explore the grand Ananda Temple and the highest building on the Bagan plain - Thatbyinnyu Temple. After lunch, view one of Myanmar most treasured handicrafts at a lacquer-ware workshop, before visiting Manuha Temple and Nanpaya Temple. Continue to explore the Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, which is noted for its mural paintings of Jataka scenes under the protection of UNESCO. Later on, watch the sunset at one of the viewing mounds.
Day 4 : Bagan - Mount Popa - Bagan
Today take an excursion to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano featuring various plants and many sacred shrines dedicated to animist spirits - “Nats". You can climb to the top to get a bird's-eye view of the nearby areas or just enjoy a leisure stroll around a local resort where you will get a distant view of Mount Popa. After your tour in Mount Popa, drive back to Bagan and continue to visit Sulamani Temple and Dhamayangyi Temple.
Day 5: Bagan -Fly to Mandalay
Fly to Mandalay. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Later, head for Mahamuni Pagoda to view the beautiful golden Buddha statue. Stop to see the laborious process of Gold-Leaf Beating en route. In the afternoon, pay a visit to three artistic attractions Shwenandaw Kyaung Temple, Kuthodaw Pagoda, and Kyauktawgyi Pagoda before enjoying the spectacular sunset at Mandalay Hill.
Day 6 : Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay
Take an excursion to the former capital of Burma - Amarapura. Visit Mahagandayon Monastery, the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar, followed by City Harbor Bridge and a nunnery where thousands of nuns live and study the Buddha scripture. Proceed to Sagaing Hill before taking a boat trip to view the enchanting U Bein Bridge at sunset.
Day 7 : Madalay Fly to- Heho - Inle Lake
Fly to Heho and then be transferred to Inle Lake. Upon arrival, check-in and relax at the hotel before lunch. Later, enjoy a boat trip in the Inle Lake, watch one-leg rowers fishing, and visit Nampan Village where you'll see the floating gardens. After that, get back to the hotel and enjoy some leisure time.
Day 8: Inle Lake Discovery
This morning, explore the Indein Village to see nice village views and the Indein Pagoda complex. Later, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site around Inle Lake which houses five small Buddha images covered with gold. Then proceed to a wooden monastery on stilts - Nga Phe Chaung Monastery before getting back to the hotel. If you like, you can enjoy a hand weaving performance at the end of today's sightseeing.
Day 9 : Inle Lake - Heho - Fly to Thandwe - Ngapali Beach
This morning, drive to Heho for a 50-minute flight to Thandwe. Upon arrival, be met and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax on the sandy beach.
Day 10: Leisure Time at Ngapali Beach
Today is yours to relax on the beautiful Ngapali Beach, which has impressed many visitors with the clean and fine sands, blue waters, and clear sky. You can walk leisurely on the beach, swim in the warm sea, taste fresh seafood or watch the beautiful sunset over the sea or just do nothing but enjoy the beautiful beach views.
