Red River Delta Bike Tour and Halong Bay Cruise - The Hong River Delta or Red River Delta (Vietnamese: Đồng Bằng Sông Hồng, or Châu Thổ Sông Hồng) is the flat low-lying plain formed by the Red River and its distributaries merging with the Thai Binh River in northern Vietnam. Hồng in Sino-Vietnamese means "red" or "crimson". The delta has the smallest area but the highest population and population density of all regions. The region, measuring some 15,000 square kilometers (6,000 sq mi) is well protected by a network of dikes. It is an agriculturally rich and densely populated area. Most of the land is devoted to rice cultivation

Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Binh - Mai Chau
7:30 AM pick up at your hotel, check out and cycle and drive to Mai Chau through Hoa Binh province. Starting pedal through the villages and Bai Chao and Cycling to Thong Khe Pass. Have lunch on the way then ride on a single track through Thai minority villages. Ride past terraced fields and beautiful valleys. Overnight in a stilt-house of a Thai-tribe village.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Cuc Phuong national park ( Ninh Binh)

Breakfast and transfer to Lo market and pedal through the rich farming land of the Red River Delta to Cuc Phuong National Park. On our journey, there are some opportunities to see ethnic minority people, all friendly and welcoming. Overnight in Cuc Phuong National park.

Day 3 : Cuc Phuong park – Dinh Le Temple – Ninh Binh

Following breakfast, at 8:00 Am start cycling from the gate of Cuc Phuong Park to recharge your energy for 10km cycling to the center of the park. make a couple of stops along the way to visit the Cave of Ancient Man. We continue cycling to Dinh Le temple via Bai Dinh pagoda and stop for lunch before we reach Hoa Lu. We then start cycling to visit the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. (12km), just passing scenes of local village life and rice paddies. We continue with a 1-hour cycle to Tam Coc and continue cycling to visit Thai Vi and Bich Dong pagodas, passing through the picturesque landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations with magnificent views. O / N in Tam Coc Villiage .

Day 4 : Tam Coc Cave – Keo pagoda – Thai Binh
Breakfast and transfer by van to Tan De Bridge and turn right and start cycling along the banks of the North Delta of the Red River to the most beautiful Keo pagodas complex from the 11th century.After visiting we continue cycling to Thai Binh City to have lunch in the city and then continue cycling along the Tra Ly River to Thai Hong villages for home-stay.

Day 5 :Thai Binh – Halong Bay
Breakfast and coffee before cycling through the beautiful Red River deleted to Diem Dien Town to visit the first market and then continue to Haiphong for lunch and then transfer by van to Halong city for check-in, free time for swimming, shopping and this evening join in a local seafood restaurant, End Cycling tour today.

Day 6: Ha Long Bay Cruising
After breakfast, free to swim on the beach, and shopping ...pick you up at 11:30 Am and transfer to Ha Long bay cruise station. You will be taken on our excursion boat from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft of Royal cruise Halong Bay.

– You will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

– As we begin to cruise through the bay a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served. Dining on a luxury junk with fine food and drinks doesn’t come much better than this. You won’t get a better view in most restaurants around the world.

– After lunch, we set sail for Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, extraordinary limestone karst landscapes, Oan Lagoon, Teapot, and Monster Head Islets. Explore Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boats or kayaks to discover the interesting daily lives of its inhabitants. Signature Cruise Halong Bay will stay close to Hang Trong Islet for the evening.

– Our Vietnamese cooking class is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and our expert chef will guide you through the process. Dinner tonight is a scrumptious a la carte delight with a range of different options guaranteed to please everyone’s palette.

Day 7 – Ha Long – Hanoi

– The nicest time of the day on Halong Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee, or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.

– Enjoy our buffet breakfast. It is one of the best, if not the best in the region and our guests are always satisfied. We provide a wide variety of breakfast favorites and we are sure there will be something for you no matter what your preference is.

– After breakfast, we board the excursion boat for a side trip to Surprise Cave (Sung Sot). The 100 stair climb is well worth the extraordinary views this grotto worn over millions of years into limestone karst.

– Back onboard it is time to check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early lunch and a last goodbye from our crew, you will board our excursion boat and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer back to Hanoi for check-in at your hotel, End The Tour.
